Probably the most important thing for Christians is to understand things. For instants, you need to understand pride, which comes from the Greek word for proud, anyway an example of pride is when you believe something different than what I do. It’s like it says in that one place in the Bible: pride cometh and goeth before the fall, this is why Christians get upset about pride month, because we shouldn’t celebrate people stumbling, also my youth pastor said if girls would stop wearing spaghetti straps then the boys wouldn’t stumble, which I guess is why so many people were trying to cometh before the wedding nighteth.
The opposite of pride is humility, which is when you change your mind and believe the things that I tell you to. Humility is good; it is one of the fruits or the platitudes or one of those type things. But not everyone is humble! Many people don’t even realize that they are wrong about all the issues; in theology, we say that these people are in probate. How can you know if you are wrong about everything? Here’s a simple test: do you have a brand? If not, then you are wrong. In comparison, I know that I am correct because I do have a brand. God would not give me a brand and then let me be wrong about things; that would be like one of the stories in the Bible that deals with that sort of thing.
Does this mean that people should never question me? Yes, it does! It’s like I’m always telling the restoration committee: when you don’t believe what I say, that’s doubt, and doubt is a sin. But let’s not forget that a certain one of the 12 epistles did not believe that Jesus was resurrected until he was allowed to look at Jesus’ hands. If it had been me, I would have simply said “yes, that’s Jesus all right. No need to look at his hands; I can see his face, which is clearly the face of Jesus,” but you have to remember that very few of the Christians back then had brands, because social media was just starting out, so they weren’t as holy as we are now. This is what they mean by Old Covenant.
The point is this: sometimes Christians need a little proof. That’s why I decided to put out a fleet: I asked God if I am right about everything, and He said that I was. And if I had somehow misheard God, don’t you think He would have told me? Makes you think! Now, does this mean that if you disagree with me, you are disagreeing with God? I’m not saying this, but many people are. And because God is eternal, this means that all of my future opinions are correct, too. In advance. So, if you ever hear someone say that I am wrong about something, please tell that person that they need to stop being so prideful.
